I’m Rob Brown, a brand and business developer based in Washington, DC. I help creative entrepreneurs, entertainers, and brand leaders build companies that balance creativity with structure, connecting brand, strategy, operations, and finance into one cohesive foundation.

My career began in public accounting, advising family-owned businesses and high-net-worth clients across trusts, estates, partnerships (including legacy LPs), and S corporations. That work grounded me in financial precision, organizational rigor, and the realities of how successful enterprises are built and sustained.

Alongside that, I developed an unconventional creative background in photography and design, which sharpened my eye for corporate identity, culture, and relevance. The blend of those disciplines—financial insight and creative instinct—shaped how I approach business today.

My work sits at the intersection of corporate identity and organizational design, where brand expression meets operational structure. I believe good companies invest equally in their identity and their infrastructure, the story they tell and the system that sustains it. Most focus on one or the other. I focus on both.

I operate as a business partner without the equity strings, helping founders refine their strategy, strengthen their systems, and align their financial foundations so their brand-led businesses can run smoother, scale smarter, and stay aligned with their goals.

I’m currently pursuing my MBA at American University and working toward my CPA license, continuing to merge creativity, strategy, and finance as I build KOMMUNION®, a platform for sharing what I’m learning along the way.
